What's your dream kitchen?

What is your dream kitchen and how you plan it? Start with the budget your goals in a good contractor, and you should end up with the kitchen you always wanted.

What's your dream kitchen? Do you love to cook, to create and to entertain? Or do you just have one because it came with the house?

If you're in the first group, those people who love to cook and create and put Martha Stewart to shame, then you need to have a gallery that reflects that. So, where you start with your dream remodel? First you need to decide how much space you need. And you need to decide what aspects of your pantry you need to change. Some cooks like to have lots of counter space, including floating islands. Some cooks prefer to have industrial stows walk-in refrigerators and no island.

But maybe you're not in that extreme first group where your gallery is your quasi restaurant for friends. Maybe your pantry is just for your family gathers to talk about their day, their problems, and to share a meal. Maybe your needs for your kitchen or simple and your to seeking a place that relaxing and inviting.

Regardless of what your goals are your most important main goal is to clearly articulate what you're after. If you need to have your home redesigned to meet these goals it is important that your contractor understand exactly what you want to end up with.

The very basics, the very first place you can start with any gallery is new counters, new appliances, and new cupboards. Go for the best materials that you possible can afford on your budget. And your budget by the way is important. If you want to have your dream remodel you're going to have to stick to a realistic budget and that starts at the very beginning of your entire project.

Your contractor is your key to sticking within your budget. Once you know how much you can afford and what you want to get out of that budget your contractor can help you realize what is realistic and what simply is not. For example, if you have a huge kitchen, granite countertops and industrial stows may not be a combination that you can afford on your budget. However if you have a small area, you may be able to afford both of these things.

Stainless steel countertops are used in most industrial galleries because they are easy to clean and maintain, and they are great for preparing food on without showing any wear, age or damage. If that's not the look you're going for in your kitchen, granite is also a popular type of material for counters but unfortunately it's an expensive choice.

So plan your budget, understand your goals, and be very clear with your contractor about both of these things, and you should be able to create whatever dream remodel youre after.

It may take a while to get done, but take it to heart because the end product will be something you can live with for quite a long time. And that's good, because you don't want to go through this again.
